• POSITION: Building Wellness Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Ohio Teacher’s license or certificate appropriate for the assignment preferred.
Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, etc.).
Documented evidence of a clear criminal record.

Letter of interest should be submitted to Mary Hellyer Chasteen, Treasurer by Monday, February 2, 2012.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

*Works with district wellness coordinator in creating and implementing an “employee wellness program”.
*Assists in providing preventive health education information by distributing monthly wellness newsletters as well as articles and wellness tips to employees in their assigned buildings.

*Serves as resource within their buildings for employees about any health or wellness related topics.

*Assists and supports employee health fairs, screenings and other health improvement activities such as exercise challenges and weight loss programs.

*Serve on districts Wellness Committee as building representative. Assist committee in planning wellness activities throughout the year for employees.

*Assists and helps plan the participation of “two” EPC wellness “Challenges” throughout the year, in their respective buildings, along with documenting the results.

*Participate in meetings and workshops for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information to help sustain and improve the wellness program.
