The NHS Student Council was recognized as a "Platinum Sponsor" of the 2011 Hospice of Dayton 5K Remembrance Walk on November 5. With the funds generated through the 2nd Annual Polar Bear 5K and additional donations collected this school year, the NHS Student Council donated more than $2600 to Hospice. In addition, the team was recognized as a "Sapphire" level team with 12 registered participants.
